Takaoka has a 400-year history as a stronghold of traditional cast metalcraft. It is here that we have put the knowledge and experience we have gained over generations of working with handicrafts to use in creating products with charm both old and new.

It is our goal to promote the appeal of handicrafts that have fewer opportunities to be part of our lives these days and bring them to a new audience, as well as to help preserve the artisans who have the knowledge to create these treasures.
